And how do you use it
Cocricot is a resource pack for 1.7/1.12 that uses biome-states to change the way a block works (like you know how water changes color in swamps vs forests? that’s an NBT tag you can change. EVERY block can be affected by that tag, even if it’s not making a visible change). So you can use a mod (like world-edit or a couple of others that let you punch a block to change it’s state) to have basically, MILLIONS of blocks to build with. Cocricot’s theme is very victorian/beach/seaside aesthetic and has a lot of furniture items like Ghoulcraft does (but they’ve been doing it for WAY longer, and you don’t need item frames!)
Is a mod required for it?
You can use Cocricot on it’s own, but you won’t have access to ALL the blocks in their catalog. But you can use it plain, for sure!
There’s also another version/addon? (i’m not sure i can’t read japanese) called MiniaTuria that makes more modern-looking stuff but in the same kind of theme/art style!
How complicated is it to use world edit with Cocricot? Is there a mod you recommend above world edit?

As i haven’t actually used it, i’m not sure, but there’s an ask i answered a little while ago where someone said that Cocricot offers it’s own mod, so you don’t have to use WE! :D

my texture packs and mods
so since i was asked what resource packs and mods I use for building, i decided to make a list of sort. the minecraft version i use is 1.12 mostly, sometimes 1.14. you will need the appropriate mc forge mod loader for 1.12 mods.
resource/texture packs i use; cocricot,mizuno’s 16 craft and conquest reforged.Optifine is essential for these to work properly.
cocricot and conquest reforged have partner mods that add decorations and custom blocks, so I recommend you use the corresponding mods with the texture packs, you can find the mods in the same pages as the texture packs. these two with the mods will only work in 1.12, but i think only the texture packs can work in 1.14. i also like to use mizuno’s and conquest at the same time.
when in 1.14, i only use mizuno’s 16 craft with the CIT pack. other CIT packs i use aredreamland, minty’s, ghoulcraft, and itembound.

before downloading any of these mods, read the mod description if there are any dependencies on other mods!!! also im going to list mods that are relevant to building and that the world looks nice, so no gameplay changes here.
